The purchase of any property begins when we receive the memorandum of sale and the contract from the sellers’ solicitors, these were sent to us and duly received on the 3rd and 8th of May respectively. Only once this happens can we order searches etc. Your case handler duly emailed both you and your agent on the 16th of May with an update and the outstanding documents needed to progress the matter. Legally we are required to abide by anti-money laundering regulations as well as other laws and as such may need further clarification and documents. Where these are not provided we sadly cannot act. Given that fact, we wish you all the best with your new legal firm.
You also claim being billed £1900 however you only paid less than £50 in total. Contrary to your claims we are confident that our team acted swiftly and in line with the requirements of the law and can demonstrate that. We still haven’t received the complaint you mention so for your ease, we have sent you a copy of the complaint’s procedure and an escalation process to our ombudsman.
